Substance Days 2017
Substance Days is coming back to Hollywood this July to share the hottest tips and techniques from world-famous artists, and reveal what’s coming up next in the Substance World. It happens directly before SIGGRAPH 2017, and includes:
- Masterclasses taught by some of the world’s best Substance artists
- Free Keynote by Allegorithmic Founder and CEO, Sebastien Deguy, who will reveal the future of Substance
- A free Gallery Opening with complementary food, refreshments, and activities
- Free art and pipeline-focused Saturday Sessions from 9 AM to 6 PM, with free lunch and refreshments.
The Keynote and Saturday sessions will also be Livestreamed!
This year’s exciting guest speakers include top artists from Santa Monica Studio, CD Projeckt RED, The Mill, Treyarch, Insomniac Games, and Visceral Games.
With over 85% of AAA game studios now using Substance in their production pipelines, the unique software is truly the industry standard for PBR material authoring. Substance is also being quickly adopted in the fields of VFX, animation, design, and architecture – which will be one of the focuses of Substance Days: showcasing how artists specializing in a variety of industries can harness the power of Allegorithmic’s comprehensive ecosystem of tools.
