With a speaker line-up that includes Star Wars concept designer Iain McCaig, Legacy Effects founder Shane Mahan and Naughty Dog art director Robh Ruppel, it’s probably no surprise that tickets for the 2015 Trojan Horse was a Unicorn festival have already sold out.
But if you’ve left it too late to attend the show, which takes place in Troia, Portugal, from 15-19 September, the organisers have just announced two alternative ways to see some of the content.
Over the summer, there will be a series of ‘THU Meetups‘ featuring speakers from the main festival, including an event in Warsaw this Friday, 12 June, and one in London on 4 July.
And during the show itself, THU Television will be streaming the conferences and live demos on demand to anyone buying a virtual ticket, along with additional specially recorded content.
Digital viewers will also be able to submit their portfolios online for professional feedback. Virtual tickets cost €100 (around $115), excluding VAT and fees, rising to €150 ($170) later in the summer.
Full disclosure: ArtStation gets a commission from tickets booked through the link above.
