Online school Computer Graphics Master Academy has opened registrations for its Spring term, offering over 30 courses in entertainment design disciplines, tailored for artists of all skill levels.

CGMA runs specialist programs in character and environment design, plus a general foundation course, taught by leading illustrators and concept artists.

Each program runs over six terms, leading to a certificate of completion; or modules can be selected individually. Modules are arranged in weekly segments, each with a video lecture; an assignment with individual feedback from the instructor; and a live Q&A. Most cost $699.

New courses this term include Environment Sketching for Production, aimed at creating quick visual themes for use in a production pipeline; and Costume Design.

New instructors include illustrator Dana Guerrieri, DreamWorks Animation art director Richard Daskas, Microsoft 343 Industries senior concept artist Josh Kao, and art director Mauricio Abril.

Registration for the Spring term closes on 1 May, and classes begin immediately afterwards.
