Character Creator 4 – Enliven Any Characters

The main focus of Character Creator 4 is to enliven and give personality to any biped humanoid, whether they are humans or creatures.

In version 4.0, imagination and creativity are no longer limited by an existing character base. Instead, any rigged character can be imported, characterized, and optimized in Character Creator 4. Characters are fully compatible with iClone for lip-sync, facial/body animation tools, and ActorCore mocap animations to save time in production.

Creators can enliven characters with their own unique personalities. Character Creator 4 supports customizing facial expression morphs to create vivid and unique facial expressions. Users can further review talking and body animation, cloth/hair physics, spring dynamics, and preview animations directly in Character Creator 4.

Pricing and Free Upgrade Offers

Reallusion maintains its perpetual licenses for both iClone 8 and Character Creator 4, scheduled to release in Spring 2022. 

To ease 3D production, Reallusion simplifies their product portfolio by integrating major features from other products natively into iClone 8 and Character Creator 4. For example, iClone 7’s previous Curve Editor (list price at USD $149) and its 3DXchange Pipeline (list price at USD $499) now incorporate into iClone 8. 

Additionally, the new curve editor supports End Effectors and facial expressions. With these new additions, iClone 8 price will now cost USD $599, and upgrades from previous versions will cost USD $499.  

Major 3DXchange Pipeline functionality has also been implemented into Character Creator 4. New licenses of Character Creator 4.0 will cost USD $299, and upgrades from previous versions will cost USD $249.
