Airship Syndicate/Riot Forge Ruined King: A League of Legends Story Art Blast
Hi all!
We’re super excited to share with you the Art Blast for Ruined King: A League of Legends Story!
When we got the very first Champion (Illaoi!) running around our initial iteration of Bilgewater, we just knew this was going to be something special. Seeing where each of the disciplines took the Champions throughout development was an amazing experience from their writing and gameplay, all the way to their designs. We’re thankful to have worked with some League of Legends veterans who helped us with expanding the universe while also giving us the chance to give a unique spin on the visuals. The team faced many challenges during development while we worked to create a game that was larger than we could imagine compared to our Battle Chasers roots. We’re all very proud of what we accomplished!
Fast forward to release and we’re so happy to see the reactions to every little detail the developers placed in the world. The team worked incredibly hard to bring the world of Runeterra to life and we’re looking forward to players uncovering the many corners of Bilgewater and the Shadow Isles. It’s been an honor and privilege to work alongside all of the super talented developers here!
