Jerad Marantz creates six-hour creature design class for Gnomon
Guardians of the Galaxy and Spider-Man concept artist – and recent ArtStation Magazine interviewee – Jerad Marantz has created a new six-hour masterclass in concept design for The Gnomon Workshop.
3D Creature Design: Alien Rock Grubber explores the process of creating a 3D creature for presentation to a client.
In the video, Jerad explains how to block out, detail, pose and texture the creature in ZBrush, and render it in KeyShot, to create both animated turntables and a range of final Photoshop composites.
The tutorial costs $69, and is available as a digital download, with a DVD release to follow. Watch the teaser below.
