The Syn Studio Full-Time Intensive Portfolio Prep program provides aspiring concept artists with a chance to be a part of an elite training program and learn from some of the industry’s finest artists in one of the world’s top entertainment hubs at affordable prices. The next registration deadline is on June 12, 2019, and you can register for the program here.
The program’s flexible structure gives you the option of studying for 1 (10 weeks) or 2 (20 weeks) terms, with 5 courses each term. This provides you with the ideal platform to build strong concept art skills and a killer portfolio so you can do one or more of the following:
- Get accepted into the elite diploma programs (such as the Syn Studio Concept Art Diploma Program)
- Land an industry job
- Win lucrative art contracts
The program can be adapted to suit the needs of each student. You have the option of choosing the courses you wish to study from a wide array of drawing, painting, concept design, illustration, and other specialized courses at a variety of skill levels. So with our help, you can design a curriculum that rapidly results in you achieving your artistic training goals.
The courses in the program are designed in accordance with the latest industry demands and requirements. These courses, taught by veteran industry artists who are also qualified and experienced teachers, cover a wide range of topics ranging from basic introductory traditional drawing to advanced concept art and illustration.

Concept Design taught by Pierre Raveneau (Gods of Rome, Asphalt Xtreme, Tom Clancy’s ShadowBreak)
Environment Design taught by Anastasia Ovchinnikova (Magic the Gathering, Star Wars, Warhammer 40,000, Netrunner, Legend of the Cryptids, Pearl’s Peril and Ex Gods)
Composition, Lighting and Illustration taught by Donald Caron (Assassin’s Creed, Watch Dogs and Splinter Cell Universes)

The program’s short duration (10 or 20 weeks) provides students with the option of easily attending the program with just a tourist visa. This has resulted in the Full-Time Intensive Portfolio Prep Program attracting several international students, making up 50% of the student body.
