Counterplay Games Godfall Art Blast

This quote is even more true during those crazy times. With Godfall, we wanted to transport people to new worlds, new frontiers, filled with inviting, mysterious and luxurious places. Some architectural choices were taken to ground visuals to something somewhat familiar but overall, natural formations, vegetations, critters, lightings… had to feel different. Earth, Water, Air, Fire… All those Realms had to feel different from one another with a distinct feel, color script and temperature and custom lighting scenarios tailored for each narrative.
We wanted to make sure players would enjoy exploring those Realms, slashing and looting their ways thru with that same sense of wonder from the first time they’ve pressed “start”. Our amazing and self-driven Art Team here at Counterplay Games did an amazing job putting together all those incredible places and hand-crafted characters/weapons, making sure every single detail is up to par for what a “Next-Gen” title is supposed to be. We are so very proud, lucky and thankful to be working with all those amazing artists who believed in that journey… And without boring everyone furthermore, I’d suggest to scroll down and take a look at some of the Art we’ve produced for Godfall.
