Riot Games: 2D Skills in 3D VFX panel discussion

Gnomon School of Visual Effects is hosting a free event tonight (Monday 12th October) with three of RIOT Games’ finest VFX artists. The 2D Skills in 3D VFX panel discussion will show and discuss Christina Wun, Jason Keyser, and Jin Yang’s work from League of Legends.

Christina, Jason, and Jin will offer an insightful discussion about the importance of 2D skills in the creation of world-class visual effects. Christina is a self-taught artist serving as the Community Director of Art; Jason and Jin are both Senior VFX Artists with impressive careers that span games, film, and TV. These three talents will be hitting the Gnomon Stage to share footage of the work that so often goes unseen. If you’re a student, hobbyist, or professional interested in pursuing or developing a career in games, this will prove an inspiring event that will shed light on the roles that contribute to stunning visual effects.

2D Skills in 3D VFX runs from 8-10pm at the Gnomon School of Visual Effects on Monday 12th October. Entry is free, but you need to register in advance online.
