Funcom Conan Exiles: Isle of Siptah Art Blast

It is our very great pleasure to share with you a selection of the art of Conan Exiles: Isle of Siptah. It has also been a pleasure and a privilege to work within the world Robert E. Howard created in 1932, in many ways the world of Hyboria laid the foundations of the Fantasy genre.
And so it is with The Isle of Siptah. Our inspiration was built on the wonderful work of so many. Firstly by those who worked on the original Conan Exiles game, but also further back and the creators of Funcom’s epic MMO Age of Conan. It will soon be 20 years since I first heard tales of the Cimmerian in the halls of Funcom. From that moment so many amazing artists, writers, designers and coders have, like patient archaeologists, unearthed the beauty and treasures of the Hyborian age.
And Funcom’s long association with Conan continues today with our current team of talented artists/archaeologists digging deeper into the soil of the Isle of Siptah unearthing beautiful hidden vaults, treasures and horrific beasts. Discovering new factions of ancient civilizations and releasing an unnatural power at the heart of the island.
I cannot overstate what a pleasure it was to work with such a hard-working and diligent team. Every day they managed to surprise me with new insights into an ancient world and to make something fresh and exciting yet stay true to Howard’s Hyboria. They are some of the best artists I have worked with and I have had the best time working with them.
But is this what is best in life? What would Conan say?
