Creating a new IP is an exciting opportunity, but also a massive risk. We’re thankful for the incredible support we’ve had from all around the globe, and especially our friends at Sony Japan who helped guide us into crafting something we’re all immensely proud of.

More than anything, we wanted to capture the feeling of ancient Japan rather than a stone-by-stone recreation. It was important to paint a picture as if someone was describing a memory – fields of bold-colored flowers, pampas-covered coastlines, and epic castles on mountain passes.

The lush and vibrant style in Ghost of Tsushima took years to dream up, and here you’ll find work from talented people that contributed to this dream. Lighting artists, cinematography, environment modeling and texturing, animation, VFX, and more.

Ghost of Tsushima’s artwork became such a booming voice of the IP and we’re incredibly proud, and thankful for everyone that contributed.
