Kouji Tajima tests the Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16 with ZBrush

Kouji Tajima is a concept artist based in Vancouver, Canada working at Double Negative. He studied at the Japan Electronics College in Shinjuku, Japan, and has most recently worked on blockbuster movies including Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and Assassin’s Creed.

Kouji has spent the past three months with the Wacom MobileStudio Pro testing its capabilities for 3D character concepts. In this video (Japanese with English subtitles) he shows the physical features of the MobileStudio Pro, its performance handling high-poly 3D models, and a timelapse of his character sculpting process using Pixologic ZBrush.

Kouji tested the Wacom MobileStudio Pro 16 with the following specs:

• Intel® CoreTM i7
• 512GB SSD
• 16GB DDR3
• NVIDIA® Quadro® M1000M graphics with 4GB GDDR5 VRAM
• Intel® RealSenseTM 3D camera and scanning software

The MobileStudio Pro accessories include the Wacom Wireless Keyboard, Wacom Link (to attach to another Mac or PC), and a Mobile Stand.
