Trojan Horse was a Unicorn festival announces 2014 speaker line-up

As well as one of the best names of any CG conference going, Portugal’s Trojan Horse was a Unicorn festival also has a pretty cool speaker line-up.

This year’s show – the first details for which have just been posted on the THU website – includes sessions from CG legend Syd Mead, double Oscar-winning VFX supervisor Rob Legato, and Avatar animation supervisor Andy Jones.

There are also quite a few speakers whose work will be familiar from ArtStation itself, including Blur Studio character artist Alessandro Baldasseroni, Neversoft Entertainment environment artist Devon Fay, and ace mech designer Gavriil Klimov.

You can order tickets, which cost €450 (around $615) now, although the site is still only a single page: full details will follow closer to the event itself, which takes place in Troia from 17-20 September.
