User verification system

ArtStation has grown into one of the largest sites on the internet with millions of people using the website every month. This popularity has been great for the artists who are showcasing work on ArtStation, but has also attracted many unwanted trolls and fake accounts.

ArtStation is now requiring all new users to verify their account. Account verification is simple and works via Facebook or SMS. We recently rolled out the system and we’re already finding many obviously fake accounts who are stopping short of verifying. Long term, this will result in a higher quality community for ArtStation.
