Tell us about your journey

I’ve always been a fan of movies, for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was heavily influenced by films like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Aliens and several others. So when I heard about the Gnomon School of Visual Effects, I knew that that was the place for me. Attending Gnomon pushed me to go after my dreams of being a creature and concept designer. Getting to learn from my favorite artists has been an amazing breakthrough, both personally and for my career.

Do you have dream projects?

Oh most definitely: I really enjoy working on Marvel films or anything Star Wars-related. Those franchises have given so much to me. I’m also developing my own IP – I’ll share more on that once it’s a bit further along – developing a studio, and an online tutorial store and learning community.

What are you passionate about?

Innovation, and seeing the artist community grow and thrive. I never want to stop learning and taking on challenges. Never stop moving forward! I also want to learn more practical effects and cinematography.

What would be your #1 advice to other artists?

Get out there and observe everything you can; experience everything you can. Gather reference and keep pushing your talents. Find inspiration in everything.
